WHAT IS CF STORIES?
CF Stories is a collection that displays God at work in the lives of people right here in our church. Each of us are a part of a bigger picture that shows God moving in our city, and these stories aim to give a name and a voice to many of the 100,000 we are reaching in our city and around the world through our 2020 Vision.
HOW DO YOU TELL THESE STORIES?
In order to tell an honest story, we must be courageous and willing to tell the dark side of life. This means we don’t shy from showing the ugliness of sin, because the true depth of sin makes clear the need for our glorious savior. Showing the darkness of our story allows us to juxtapose it with the beauty of Jesus and His magnificent salvation. This shows our story of redemption in its true beauty and lets His glory shine even brighter.
WHY WE DO IT
At the root of it all, we tell stories to encourage the church to worship and be fully devoted followers of Christ. When believers continually hear of the great things God does through normal people, they gain hope to keep loving and serving exactly where God has them — no matter how difficult the journey is.
