We are partnering with the SBC Disaster Relief organization to provide a fully functional Feeding Station at our Palmetto Bay Campus should the need arise in that area of the city. If the storm does not directly hit us, that same Disaster Relief Team will set up immediately where they are most needed. Our desire is to love our city and to help provide the most help where it is most needed.

Here are some prayer points:
Give thanks to God for shelter, food, and family.
Pray for those who have left their homes and are traveling.
Pray for those who have been and will be affected by Hurricane Irma to have peace and trust in God.
Pray for those who will be responding to relief efforts following the storm.
Many of you have asked how you can help. We wanted to let you know that because of your giving, Christ Fellowship has already been able to partner with and support the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief, which is the disaster relief arm of the North American Mission Board (NAMB) and the third largest disaster relief organization in the United States. Southern Baptist Disaster Relief has been around for 50 years, providing all kinds of disaster relief including hot meals, clean water, child care, laundry, structure repairs, rebuilding and more. Their volunteers will be on the ground following the storm.
As a church, we will continue funding all aid through this organization. They have committed that 100% of all money raised will go directly to help those affected. At no point will donations be used to fund salaries or administrative support.
