A special offering to heal the sick, feed the hungry and clothe the poor.
For the Least of These
Jesus has compassion for the people oftentimes forgotten by society. In the Book of Matthew, He calls them, "the least of these," and He calls us to serve them. This Christmas, we have an opportunity to do just that.
In our special offering, For the Least of These, your generosity will make these three initiatives a reality: our Community Marketplace to provide free food for the hungry, our Mobile Clothing Unit to clothe the poor, and our Pediatric Mobile Dental Unit to heal the sick. Let's love like Jesus, and show our community that they are never forgotten.
HOW WE’LL "HEAL THE SICK"
Caring for Miami Pediatric Dental Clinic
The Need:
In Miami-Dade County, about 13% of children lack dental insurance, making access to dental care a significant issue for many families in the area.
The Plan:
Launch a pediatric dental program for low-income and uninsured children (e.g. children in our Weekend Meals for Kids program, migrant camps, hospitals and other Community Partners).
The Impact:
Enables us to provide dental care for the whole family at no cost to them, increasing our ability to evangelize and meet spiritual needs.
Goal: $350,000
HOW WE’LL "FEED THE HUNGRY"
Caring for Miami Community Marketplace
The Need:
Families in our community, including many within our church, are facing challenges due to rising food prices, shortages and hunger.
The Plan:
Merge the Mobile Food Market resources and the Care Cottage property at our Palmetto Bay Campus to create a free marketplace that allows individuals to select the items they need.
The Impact
Establishes a permanent location where families can visit to “shop” for essential items like fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, whole wheat pastas, beans, beverages, snacks and condiments.
Goal: $95,000
HOW WE’LL "CLOTHE THE POOR"
Caring for Miami Mobile Clothing Unit

Create a mobile closet.
The Impact:
Provide a dignified and unique experience for families facing hardship and in need of clothing.
